CES 2024, the year’s biggest tech show, wrapped up this week. There was a lot of cool tech on the show floor –a whole lot of AI in TVs, laptops, cars, and whatever you can think of; new chips for laptops, cars, and mixed-reality headsets, and a whole lot of TVs, laptops, and smart home gadgets. Amongst the plethora of new gadgets, there were a few that caught attention not for their coolness but for their strange and peculiar nature, making one wonder if they were even necessary.
