Delhi experienced its coldest minimum temperature of the season, reaching 3.6 degrees Celsius, with thick fog covering the city. The following day, the maximum temperature was expected to reach 19 degrees Celsius. The Railways reported delays for 18 trains bound for Delhi due to fog. The India Meteorological Department categorized visibility levels, and at 5:30 am, Safdarjung Observatory recorded visibility at 200 meters. Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am was 365, categorized as ‘very poor’ by the Central Pollution Control Board. AQI levels are measured on a scale from ‘good’ to ‘severe.
