A government school teacher, Sita Trivedi, in Bajhera village, has successfully persuaded 40 children from the marginalized Kalabaj nomadic tribe, known for begging, to enroll in school. Trivedi visited their homes, overcoming resistance from the community elders, to emphasize the importance of education. Despite facing challenges of discrimination from other students, she intervened, ensuring harmony. Trivedi’s commendable efforts have been praised by District Magistrate Umesh Pratap Singh and Basic Siksha Adhikari Ranveer Singh, fostering hope for broader initiatives against caste-based discrimination in education.
