CBSE is planning a pilot run of open-book assessments in selected schools for classes IX to XII. The aim is to gauge completion time, suitability, and perceptions. The pilot will assess higher-order thinking skills. Pilot testing of materials is planned for Nov-Dec 2024. Internal exams could promote innovative thinking in curriculum.
