Early childhood education (ECE) is a key focus area for India as it aims to become a developed country by 2047, according to Niti Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyan. He emphasized the urgency, noting that most of the future workforce, who will contribute to India’s growth, is already born and needs quality education. Subrahmanyan highlighted ECE as a top priority area discussed in a presentation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
