The company’s implant, known as the “Link,” is a small device, comparable in size to five coins stacked together, and is surgically placed inside the human brain. Founded in 2016 and based in California, Neuralink has a strong workforce of more than 400 individuals and has raised over $363 million in funding, as reported by Pitchbook.
