Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) selling Indian stocks worth Rs 22,000 crore in May have led to a significant impact on companies with high foreign ownership. Over 100 stocks, with FPI stakes of more than 5%, have seen declines of 10% to 30% in the last month.
