The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) announced changes for the IMPS online bank transaction system. Starting February 1, customers can transfer up to Rs 5 lakh between bank accounts without adding a beneficiary. This update eliminates the need to input recipient details like bank account and IFSC for fund transfers using IMPS.
