The JEE Advanced 2024 analysis revealed significant differences between candidates, highlighting India’s competitive exam regional gap. Notably, 54% of IIT entrance qualifiers come from just six states, while 73% come from ten, demonstrating talent concentration. Top contenders include Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana, which account for more than 30% of eligible candidates. Despite high participation rates, only 28% improved their scores in subsequent sessions. Over 14.1 lakh people registered for JEE (Main), with a 96% attendance rate, demonstrating the exam’s importance. The JEE Advanced registration deadline approaches on May 7.
