Jharkhand has changed school timings due to continued cold waves. Students in KG to class 5 will attend from 10 AM to 2 PM, while classes for grades 6 to 12 will be from 9 AM to 3 PM until January 25, 2024. Ranchi experienced a 10 degree Celsius temperature drop with light rain reported by the Meteorological Centre. Simdega recorded the highest rainfall at 54.4 mm. The weather is predicted to stay dry from January 19 to January 22.
