Animals in Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg are using the overpasses and underpasses built along the expressway to avoid traffic. A camera trap survey by Wildlife Institute of India shows various wildlife species using these structures. The survey aims to analyze the efficiency of wildlife crossings and will assist in implementing similar mitigation measures on other highways.
