The BJP’s Central Election Committee concluded its second meeting, finalizing candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka. The JD(S) is expected to secure three seats in Karnataka. Ongoing seat-sharing negotiations with JD(U), Lok Janshakti Party, AIADMK, JJP, and BJD. The meeting was attended by key leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president JP Nadda.
