Indian Highways Management Company (IHMCL), the arm of NHAI, has barred Paytm Payments Bank from issuing fresh FASTags and taking up new toll plazas due to non-compliance. IHMCL seeks a response from the bank on why it should not be penalized. The decision won’t affect existing FASTag customers. Other entities may face similar action in the future.
