Naxalite Nangsu Tumreti, known as Giridhar, surrendered with his wife in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district. Giridhar, with a significant bounty on his head, decided to give up arms after being part of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) since 1996, impacting the region’s security and aiming to restore peace and order.
