The Uttar Pradesh government has declared a statewide closure of all schools, both government and private, from pre-nursery to Class 12th, on January 25, 2024, in observance of Muhammad Hazrat Ali’s Birth Anniversary. This decision, part of a broader initiative, follows the recent shutdown of offices and educational institutions on January 22. The altered schedule, extending until January 27, includes adjustments for classes 9 to 12 and online classes. Furthermore, Banks in various locations, such as Chennai, Lucknow, and Kapur, will observe the occasion as a holiday.
