On Wednesday, Russia said that the US attempted to “unbalance” Indian politics by making it “harder to have the General Parliamentary elections.” Speaking at a press briefing, Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, “They (US) tried to unbalance the political situation in India in order to make it harder to have the general parliamentary elections.”
