Varun Tomar, a rising shooter, won India’s 14th Olympic quota by winning a gold medal in the men’s 10m Air Pistol event at the Asian Qualifiers. Tomar’s score of 239.6 earned him the top position, while Arjun Cheema won the silver medal with a score of 237.3. Mongolia’s Davaakhuu Enkhtaivan won the bronze medal with a score of 217.2. Tomar and his teammates also contributed to India’s gold medal in the 10m air pistol team event.
