Cricket South Africa faced substantial criticism from both current and former players for its decision to unveil a second-string team for the Test tour of New Zealand. South Africa named as many as seven uncapped players, including a new captain, for the two-Test series, while top South African cricketers will play the second season of the SA20. Former South African legend Brian McMillan also joined the chorus expressing his disappointment over CSA’s move and commended India and Virat Kohli for giving priority to Test cricket.
